Job – Wheelchair Dispatcher

Job requirements

  • Knowledge of computer operations sufficient to enter, retrieve data
  • Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions
  • Effectively prioritize situations and make decisions based on the information received
  • Ability to hear and understand multiple sound sources (radio & phone)
  • Able to handle multiple tasks to receive and communicate information to and from several sources ensuring calls for service are dispatched and monitored in a timely manner
  • Work under stressful conditions and react appropriately using good judgment
  • Willingness to maintain respectful working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, airline reps, and passengers
  • Possess a clear and understandable radio and telephone voice 
  • Effective at multitasking
  • Ability to sit, stand or walk for a prolonged period (up to 10 hours)
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 lbs
  • Ability to function in a work environment with moderate noise level from several sources creating constant activity

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must Be Proficient In English
  • Must Have A Flexible Schedule
  • Must Have A High School Diploma Or Higher -College Experience Preferred
  • Able To Stay Overtime To Get The Work Done In A Timely Prompt Manner
  • Good Customer Service Skill
  • Must Be Able To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment
  • Tech-savvy. Must be proficient in the use of modern technology (computers, devices, cell phone applications, etc.)
  • Must pass a background check and pre-employment physical and drug screen 
  • Must be able to legally work in the U.S.A.
